About Robbie

what he loved

The most important people in his life were his daughters and wife.  He loved every minute he spent with them. He loved his family and the endless games he played with them.  If it wasn't snowing, he was golfing.  Robbie loved golf and watching his daughter play.  He loved hanging out with friends and watching his three favorite teams: the Vikings, the Braves and the Falcons. Robbie always had a smile on his face.

how he lived

Robbie lived his life with so much purpose and joy. He had a strong Catholic faith that he carried until his last breath. When you were around Robbie, you wanted to be better. He had a way of bringing out the best in people. Robbie was full of kindness, always selfless, and a fierce competitor. To know him was to truly love him.

his message

In Febuary 2024, Robbie received the Carson Bird Award from the Air Force Academy football team. Carson was a former teammate of Robbie's who died at the young age of 31 from bone cancer.  The award goes to an Air Force football family member who has proven themselves to be courageous, selfless, relentless, and tenacious. In addition, the award goes to someone who made a difference in a positive way. His message to the team is the way we should all live our lives. Do your best, Love generously and live your faith.
